Here is a letter one of our schnoodle families sent to a new customer who was interested in a FantasyPups schnoodle.I apologize in advance for the length of this email.
I want start by saying that my husband and I could not be happier, or more in love with our Schnoodle, Riley. Our journey started with a desire to find a dog like my sisters. She has a schnauzer that we just love but he is not good with children. We wanted a breed that was similar to schnauzers, with their loyalty and eagerness to please, but would also be good with babies. We found the Schnoodle. Not only are Schnoodles great family pets and hypoallergenic, but they are the cutest freaking things! Everyone who sees Riley says he looks like a teddy bear, or he looks like a toy, or that he is the cutest dog they've ever seen. He also has the greatest personality. He is sweet and playful, and he lets you hold him without struggling. In fact he snuggles up to you; he is just the greatest. Riley has slept through the night, even on night one. No wining!! We even have to wake him up in the middle the night to let him go pee because if we dont, he just sleeps right through. He loves going for car rides and we make sure to take him somewhere at least once a week so that he continues to think they're fun. The only difficulty with Schnoodles is grooming. Riley‘s hair grows really fast! The hair on his paws needs to be cut because he’ll slip around on the floor, and you have to cut around his eyes so he can see and it doesn’t poke him. (We have had Riley with us for about a month and a half and cut his paws, and eye area twice. He is going to need a trim again in about a week. It’s not hard to do, we got a cheap pair of dog grooming scissors, and just trim the hair that looks like it’s blocking his vision, or sticking out past his pads.) I don’t mind grooming him so this is not a problem for us, but I can see that it might be a problem for others. I could go on and on about how wonderful Riley is and if you’d like me to I can, but now I’ll talk about our experience with Peter and Marie. It was great! They are hobby breeder’s, which I like because they have a very one-on-one relationship with all of their puppies. Riley comes from their first litter, so they got some help and advice from their sister/daughter, Marie, who has been breeding dogs for a few years. If I hadn’t known it was their first litter, I would not have been able to tell. I found that they are quick to respond to any questions, and are super friendly. Their house is very clean and a great place for your puppy to be born and weaned. Peter posted videos and pictures of the puppies, which we could not get enough of!!! In fact, I would have loved even more. Peter even offered discounts for some puppy supplies, which is so helpful! I’m trying to think of something they could have done to improve the experience, but I can’t. Maybe a daily puppy pic, instead of every couple of days? But seriously, Peter and Marie are great, and I can’t recommend enough that you choose them and their Schnoodles!! Please let me know if I can answer any other questions... I promise I won’t go on and on again. I’m so happy you will be joining us in the Orlowski Schnoodle family!! Cheers, Jess |
Here is a letter sent from one of our adopting families about Phantasia's black puppies, Maati May, their six month old Schnoodle.I wanted to give you an update on Maati .
She is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! You may remember that little Maati joined our family in August - she has a big sister (also a schnozzle) named Magpie that she adores! When we brought her home, we were completely prepared to have a new baby in the house - we have had puppies before and they were often a lot of work at night so we were ready. Maati is the first puppy we have ever had that went to her pen when she was tired to put herself to sleep. She had VERY few accidents because she has always just known to ask to go out. She is so vocal (in a good way) - she expresses joy every time she sees one of us and she loves to play. Just last month she started sleeping in the bed with us and her sister but she still stays in her pen during the day with her toys (much like the one you had in your kitchen for the puppies). She did learn to climb out (even though we tried always use the door), so we purchased a little mesh cover so she can see out but not jump out. She is a little cuddle bug and so well behaved! We attribute that to your hard work when she was very young and we cannot thank you enough. Maati is a perfect addition to our family and we love her to pieces. Thank you so much for our sweet little "Miss Maati May." Sincerely, Ashley, John, Victoria and Dreugh (and Magpie) |
